JANUARY CLASSES
Tuesdays 10.30am - 12.30pm
Hamilton Hill - please note pottery class will be held undercover but outside.
Wear: Clothes you dont mind getting dirty with clay or an apron/smock (washes off with water)
Bring: A water bottle, a snack if you wish.
Tuesday 7th January
Make a marbled mug and Saucer
Your childs creations will then be clear gloss glazed, with no other colour than the two coloured clays (see pcitures)
Tuesday 14th January
Make a bowl and spoon
Choose between making a mermaid spoon made by pressing shells into clay or a simple spoon the shape of their choosing. Your child will have the chance to paint their pieces and it will then be clear glose glazed.
Tuesday 21st January
Make a trinket dish with lid
Your child will have the chance to paint their pieces and it will then be clear gloss glazed.
Tuesday 28 th January
Make a mug and saucer
Your child will have the chance to paint their pieces and it will then be clear gloss glazed.
The pieces will then be fired in a kiln for the first firing, I will then personally glaze the piece in a clear gloss glaze. It will then be fired for a second time to make it completely food safe and ready to collect in approximately 5 weeks.
Due to the nature of clay, pieces may crack in the kiln, unfortunately this is out of our control and we cant accept any responsibility of this process.
Age limit is recommended 5+ years as I have found that age to be best for understanding, ability to concentrate for the duration of class and confidence working with the clay but please contact me if you have a younger child.
Children 5 years and older may be dropped for the duration of the class.

KIDS SCHOOL HOLIDAY CLASS
I understand that participation in activities can expose my child/ren to risking possible injuries, which include bumps, bruises, cuts, strains, sprains, concussions, broken bones, stings, bites, and other possible trauma.
Release of Liability: I release, waive, and fully discharge 'Oi Ceramics' and Tess Taylor from any and all claims, demands, obligations and liabilities of any kind or nature whatsoever arising from or connected, directly or indirectly, with my participation in the program and I accept that this release covers and includes, but is not limited to, all unknown and unforeseen claims, injuries, damages and losses, and any consequences thereof. I have read the Release of Liability above and fully understand its terms and I understand that by purchasing a ticket I hereby release 'Oi Ceramics' and Tess Taylor from any and all liability associated with the program my child/ren are attending. I execute it voluntarily and with full knowledge of its significance.
